No experience is necessary!

We will  teach you everything you need to know. 

Registration will be limited based upon the number of coaches that volunteer to coach.  Since there are Return to Play Guidelines to follow we will need more help with coaching.  Our goal is to keep the groups small in order to limit potential contact and keep athletes safe.  If you would like to help coach, please reach out to Sheri Masich ASAP!   Contact Sheri Masich at fieldhockey@chantillyyouth.org

Practices

• All age groups (grades 3/4, 5/6, 7/8) practice at the same location
  • We will run a clinic style format with girls in small groups in order to maintain distance between players
• Girls will practice within the appropriate age/grade group
• Mondays and Wednesdays, exact time for each age group TBD
• Word of Grace Field #2
• Practice starts on 9/14

Games

• No games against other clubs at this time.  The teams within the NOVA Field Hockey Alliance have agreed that we will not have a formal competition season based upon the current conditions.  If conditions permit we will scrimmage within CYA and possibilby against other clubs later in the season.

Equipment

• Field hockey stick.  There are a limited number of loaner sticks available if there is a financial hardship.  Please email Sheri Masich at fieldhockey@chantillyyouth.org if you are in need of a stick to borrow.
• Shinguards.  Please wear the ones that cover and protect your ankles!
• Mouthguard
