Fall 2026 Volleyball Registration is Open!

Join CYA Volleyball this fall! Registration is now open for players of all skill levels.

Registration Fees

• Regular Registration: $200
• Late Registration Begins: July 26
• A $25 late fee will be added to all registrations received on or after July 26.
• Team placement cannot be guaranteed for late registrations.

Practice Availability

During registration, please list any dates your player will be unavailable for practices.

If your player's availability changes before teams are formed, please email volleyball@chantillyyouth.org.

Select & Travel Tryouts

There is no separate registration for Select or Travel tryouts.

To be eligible to participate in tryouts, players must:

• Be registered for the Fall 2026 CYA Volleyball season.
• Have their registration paid in full with a registration status of ACTIVE.
• Have played at least one season of volleyball.

Tryout details are posted below and will be emailed to players whose registration is ACTIVE.

Stay Informed

To ensure you receive tryout announcements and other important program updates:

• Verify that you have not opted out of CYA email communications.
• Complete your registration and submit payment so your player's registration status is ACTIVE.

Please Note: Players with a registration status of PENDING are not eligible to participate in tryouts and will not receive tryout communications

Tryout Eligibility

Tryouts are intended for players with at least one season of volleyball experience. Players who are new to volleyball are not eligible to attend tryouts.

Players who:

· Are new to volleyball,

· Choose not to attend tryouts, or

· Attend tryouts but are not selected for a Select or Travel team,

will be placed on a House team based on the availability provided during registration.

· Grades 5-6 Coed 

· Middle School Girls (Grades 7-8)

· High School Girls

Travel Team Commitment

Players wishing to be considered for the Travel Team must be available for all Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday commitments throughout the season. No exceptions.

If you cannot commit to this schedule, please do not attend the Travel tryout.

Players who accept a Travel Team roster spot but fail to fulfill the commitment may be removed from the team without a refund.

Select Team Expectations

Participation on a Select team requires a significant commitment.

· Weekly practices and Saturday games are mandatory.

· Please provide all scheduling conflicts during registration or email aday@chantillyyouth.org if your availability changes before teams are formed.

· Missed practices or games may result in reduced playing time or removal from the team.

· Team assignments are final. Players may not switch teams after placement.

· Friend and carpool requests cannot be accommodated for Select teams.

Grades 5–6 (Coed) Select Tryouts

· Saturday, August 22 – Times TBA

· Saturday, August 29 – Times TBA

Middle School Girls (Grades 7–8) Travel Tryouts

· Tuesday, August 25 | 5:30–7:30 PM

· Wednesday, August 26 | 5:30–7:30 PM

Middle School Girls (Grades 7–8) Select Tryouts

· Thursday, August 27 – Times TBA

· Saturday, August 29 – Times TBA

High School Girls Select Tryouts

· Saturday, August 22 – Times TBA

· Saturday, August 29 – Times TBA

Boys Volleyball

Middle School and High School Boys assessments will be announced at a later date.

All of our coaches are volunteers. WE NEED YOU!

CYA Registration

Please be sure to note your availability and which age group you prefer to work with. A coaching license is NOT required.

If you are interested in becoming a CYA Volleyball referee for our Fall 2026 season, please contact Jenny at the email address below BY FRIDAY, JULY 31, 2026. We require our referees to be at least 13 years old and be confident, responsible, and very reliable. We pay per match refereed. If you prefer to receive volunteer hours in lieu of pay, that can be arranged.

Referees must attend at least one training session! Dates TBA.
